Board of Directors
Grandma Daisy Inc is governed by a Board of Directors responsible for organizational oversight, strategic direction, and fiduciary accountability.
Martin Vendemia
Founder, President, and Director
Martin is the founder of Grandma Daisy Inc and author of a series of books examining multigenerational family structure and its role in community resilience. His work draws on evolutionary biology, sociology, family systems research, and his personal experience as an adoptee raised in a large, close-knit extended family. He lives in Maryland.

Organization
- Incorporated as a Maryland tax-exempt nonstock corporation
- Governed by Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws
- Board of Directors meets regularly to review activities, finances, and strategic direction
Operations
- No paid staff at this time — all work performed on a volunteer basis
- Financial records maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles
- All required state and federal reports filed
Board Development
As the organization grows, the Board will be expanded to include additional directors with expertise in kinship care, family services, community education, nonprofit management, and the populations we serve. Board recruitment will prioritize individuals with direct lived experience in multigenerational family networks and kinship caregiving.
